Careers.

IBH gives priority to recruiting personnel with work experience at any of the group’s subsidiaries, sister entities, and affiliates/partners – or any of the GBN Worldwide members. The IBH workforce is also given priority when seeking a position at any of the group’s subsidiaries and/or partners.

Subject to a clear and consistent contribution to IBH over a period of 2-3 years at least, a recommendation from one or more directors/partners within IBH, and phased exit from any specific IBH office or role, hundreds of employment opportunities exist for IBH personnel.

A combined global workforce of 5500 like-minded individuals makes up the Crescent Global Group and GBN Worldwide.

IBH goes to great lengths to ensure there is no differentiation in its workforce based on race, gender, age, religion, or nationality. All personnel are recruited, evaluated, and treated equally based on performance and merit.

Quality control and internal audit functions work closely our Human Resources Personnel to ensure an equal opportunity environment and IBH leadership maintains an active role in promoting a complementary culture.

Personnel remuneration and pay-grades are consistent and annually reviewed by an active employee benefits and compensation function.

IBH operates through a horizontal structure that encourages a lean operation, operational transparency, effective client solutions, and unique growth opportunities for our workforce.

Offices around the world engulf ‘verticals’ that can revolve around clients, practices, locations, or functions. Each vertical is headed by a Director or Associate Director and engulfs different categories of analysts, associates, and managers.

IBH operates through a unique career growth mechanism. All personnel are assessed based on a rigid and fair performance management structure. Personnel can grow to become IBH Partners (Junior, Senior, and Managing) with direct interests in the form of profit sharing and/or equity and/or voting rights depending on tenor, Partnership level, and responsibility.

IBH encourages individual initiative within a structured and supportive environment. Personnel are provided with all the tools and opportunities needed to succeed from internal support to relevant and extensive exposure and training. How each participant performs, however, is due largely to their resourcefulness and personal drive – two of the most important elements found in IBH recruits.

IBH encourages a strict promote –from-within policy for various senior and leadership positions within the firm. Veterans that understand and believe in the IBH culture and have contributed consistently to the growth of IBH are seen as the most fit to benefit from career growth and leadership opportunities within IBH.

IBH recruits senior positions from outside the firm when a specific skill set/experience is needed that cannot be found within IBH or the group, or IBH is expanding to a new territory and needs local knowledge and exposure.

In all of its offices, IBH represents a great learning opportunity for fresh graduates or professionals that recently started their general and/or insurance careers. We are interested in all educational backgrounds and experiences. We look for resourcefulness, discipline, and the right attitude.

IBH invests heavily in the development of ‘early career’ personnel. Big Buddy programs allow our leadership to identify special skill sets, provide personal support and mentorship, closely monitor skill development, and identify career growth opportunities.

IBH encourages the development of a wide range of skill sets among ‘early career’ personnel.  A generalist understanding and skill set that brings depth to the wider workforce. Early Career personnel generally join IBH as analysts or Associates in a respective practice, function, or industry. Following initial stages of growth, personnel can specialize in a number of functions across different practices and industries:

  • Placement
  • Client Service and Retention
  • Business Development and Sales
  • Claims Management and Recovery
  • Risk Management and Consulting
  • Quality Control
  • Strategy
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Compliance
  • Human Resources & Administration
  • Systems

Experienced professionals with over 5 years of relevant experience at the very least can join at an advanced career category. Generally, such individuals will join IBH at a Senior Associate or Associate Director position. Rarely, IBH will recruit Directors for specific functions or skill sets.

Experienced professionals must demonstrate a willingness to adopt IBH’s culture and working model.
